Juliana Asante-Dartey has extensive experience working in varied roles with elements of business analysis, project management and coordination. She has expertise in project conceptualization, formulation and implementation within schedule and budget, financial budgeting and budgetary control.
She has over 10 years experience in business and enterprise development, market facilitation, procurement planning and implementation, training, capacity building and team work. Mrs. Asante-Dartey has proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder, multi-sectorial partnerships and multi-faceted projects.
In her role as Country Director, she has initiated and simultaneously managed and coordinated programmes in applied research, standards development, technology transfer, capacity building, quality assurance and market development.
She has a good understanding of the local natural products industry and international markets and has worked with public agencies and departments, universities and researchers, over 60 exporters and herbal manufacturers, 2 product associations, 30 rural enterprises and 4,000 collectors and agents of medicinal plants in Ghana as well as leading buyers in South Africa and USA.
Mrs. Asante-Dartey has co-authored several publications on natural products including spices, herbal teas and medicinal plants.
