Agribusiness in Sustainable Natural African Plant Products (ASNAPP) is locally registered international NGO.

ASNAPP delivers quality service across the continent through our extensive partner firms. Agribusiness in Sustainable Natural African Plant Products (ASNAPP) is an agribusiness value chain development firm with rich experience in business advisory services, agribusiness project management, monitoring and evaluation of projects, enterprise development and the provision of support to economic development activities.

ASNAPP employs a science-based, market-first business model as well as partnerships to assist Agribusinesses and Enterprises to enhance economic growth. It leverages its expertise around the globe, maximizing best practices and emerging technologies to create sustainable market‐driven and scalable programs for SMEs, the youth and women. ASNAPP’s global footprint is considerable with major networks across Africa and USA. Private-public partnerships and networks span 150+ agribusinesses, development partners, researchers, universities, producers’ and trade associations.

Our Management

Governance

ASNAPP is governed by a Global Board and an Executive Management Team made up of the Executive Director, Country Directors and Managers, Principal Investigators.

In Ghana ASNAPP was registered as a legal entity (limited by guarantee) and an NGO in 2003. It has a 5-member Board of Trustees with Prof. Seth Buatsi, as the Chairperson. The Board is made of private sector partners, public sector representatives as well as other key stakeholders. Operations of the organization
are guided by the requisite administrative and accounting/financial policies manuals and a financial system consistent with USAID and national and International regulations. Accounting and IT support are outsourced.

Service Delivery across the African Continent

    ASNAPP has used inclusive business approaches explicitly focused on expanding participation and engagement of small holder farmers into the value chain as credible suppliers and entrepreneurs for the mutual benefit of business and low-income communities. This approach has created a strong foundation for long-term growth by bringing people into the marketplace that have hitherto remained excluded, giving them access to opportunities for income, basic goods and services and choice.
